Two days ago I wrote about
the Emerging Players/Area/ County and Academy thinking that the
word Elite was inclusive within the term Emerging. However having
just met a Mum of an Elite player I have been put right. I now
list the Elite Players who are not in the Emerging group.
It is my age but Emerge to me
means to come out- thus an Emerging cricketer has just been found-
Elite to me means the pick of the best so an Elite player has
been known about for some time. . See County page |

The website has recently given birth to two more sites - www.sycet.co.uk- a site to
publicise the fund raising activities of Sussex Young Cricketers
and www.leregion.co.uk
- concentrating solely on the Regional winter and summer programme
.
The web master intends that this site www.sxyc.co.uk will continue
to place Sussex youth cricket in the public domain.
It is hoped -as it always has been- that the task of a Sussex
youth web site be undertaken by professionally employed personnel
at the County Ground. Perhaps 2008 may be the year.
This site is being revamped and moved to a new hosting company.
The moving deadline is March 3rd - it may not be on line for
a day or two. The URL sxyc.co.uk will remain the same.
