Rules for Sussex Area Festival matches 2007

No. of players: Up to 12 per side
11 players can bat, 12 bowl or field (11 on pitch at one time)

Length: 40 overs per side U11,U13 / 50 overs per side U15

Start time: 11.00am

Batting Restrictions: None

Bowling Restrictions:     8 overs max per bowler U11& U13
10 overs max per bowler U15
ECB Fast Bowling restrictions apply

Fielding Restrictions: Usual for age group

Other guidelines: 5 min Interval for coaching discussions at 15 and 30 overs, usually coinciding with drinks

Tea: Home side to provide if possible. If not possible, home side to advise that players need to bring own

Umpires: 2 to be provided, booked by the county. Each team to finance 1 umpire each.

Results: Both teams to e-mail scores to Derek Linford following each game to sxyc@sxyc.co.uk. On scorecard provided.

Web master comment- Match reports welcome from players preferably - if not from staff if they have time.

Scoring: Each team to score match using the provided scoresheets. Copies of scorecard to Derek Linford

Points Scoring: 4 Points for a win, 2 points Abandonded or tied Match, 0 pts Loss
