Guidelines for writing reports/articles
in Sussex CCC Handbook
One of the reasons for the delay in publication
is 2007 was difficulties in editing to ensure continuity in styles
throughout the publication.
Therefore I hope that the guidelines below help to reduce this
in 2008.
- All reports must be submitted electronically
in word format
- When writing bowling figures, please
use the format 5-25 rather than 5/25.
- When writing not out batting scores,
please use the asterisk * rather than 'not out'
- For youth teams there should not be
an apostrophe i.e. it should read U16s, NOT U16's
- Please compile statistics as Word
documents - all leagues should include league tables in their
reports.
- All numbers need to be aligned to
the right (i.e. with units, tens and hundreds all lined up for
ease of viewing)
- If you have any photos you would like
to be included, please send them in PDF format
- Send them to Charlotte
