Under 14 State School Cricket Cup Final
William Parker v Angmering
- In a match held over from the
summer term William Parker won the toss and batted at Horntye,
Hastings.
- They were soon in trouble as
Sam Botham reduced them to 9 runs for 5 wickets in his devastating
opening spell of bowling.
- Then Adam Murphy (50) and Sam
Willett (27) rebuilt Parker's inning to give them a respectable
target of 150 runs.
- Sam Botham finished with the
impressive figures of five wickets for 13 runs.
- Angmering found little difficulty
in reaching this target and only lost four wickets.
- Sam Botham again starred with
the bat scoring 29 runs.
Angmering won by 6 wickets.
