• The Weald reached their third final of the summer and faced a very strong Brighton Prep School team.
• After making early inroads into the Brighton batting the Weald struggle against a solid partnership of 120 between Eswar Kaledasan (81 not out) and Alexander Price (78).
• Taking Brighton from a perilous 35 for 3 to 155 for 4.
• They finished on 208 for 4 in their 35 overs.
• The Weald struggled in reply after Paymahn Seyed-safi 3-283 and Edward Kittow 2-31 did them some early damage.
• However, Stuart Barber 94 batted magnificently without any support at the other end.
• The Weald finished on 156 for 8, losing by 52 runs.
