the Finals day be played at The County Ground, Hove.
The round robin competition saw some high quality cricket produced
in the middle. This was acknowledged by the 200 people attending,
made up of Coaches, Scorers,Club Officials, parents and Supporters.
In the two semi-finals the two group winners, Hastings and St
Leonards Priory CC and FelphamColts CC, were knocked out
by group runners up Cuckfield CC
and Eastbourne CC, meaning the latter played off in the Final.
Cuckfield batted first and after losing a couple of early wickets
consolidated very well to post a very competitive total of 247.
In reply, Eastbourne
worked away towards their target but lost some late wickets when
needing some boundaries late in the innings.
