The Pavilion and Club House
are now virtually isolated.
They will soon make way
for a new building.
Mother nature has begun
to spread herself across the facilities.
This shot has been taken from the
northern edge of the newly extended field. It shows the old pavilion
and beyond that the house in the corner of the original playing
field. The ground in the fore front is all new. The nearest trees
form the original boundary of the old ground.
By extending the area it is intended to have two playing fields with a central double fronted pavilion.
There will also be a football field in the new extension made available to a local Club.
The original playing field was used to play Stoolball and this game will also take place on the field.
