Dear Head of PE
Please find attached an application form for the above tournament, which will take place throughout the summer term.
This is a new competition that will be played as well as the 11 a side and is basically for schools that have not played hardball cricket but would like to enter a summer league. It will be an 8 a side under 10 - 15 over games, in a round robin.
Dates will be fixed by myself but may be rearranged provided that they are completed by the end of June.
Matches will take place on the same day as the 11 a side league.
Please make sure that results are sent back to me within 24 hours of the fixture, therefore any late returnees will be docked two points, this will be strictly enforced.
Further rules will be provided upon entry to the competition.
Schools should affiliate to the Sussex W.C.A. If you wish to enter this competition; cost is £15.00 and should be sent to myself with a cheque made payable to Sussex WCA. Affiliation to Sussex WCA ensures that players at your school are eligible to play for Sussex.
You can email back your application form and send your cheque at a later date.
