              LADY TAVERNER’S SUSSEX LEAGUE 2008

 

Please find attached an application form for the above tournament, which will take place throughout the summer term. The format of the competition will be the same as previous years, that is; 11 a side 20 over games, in a round robin format.

 

Dates will be fixed by myself, but may be rearranged provided they that are completed by the end of June. Please note some fixtures may not be able to take place until after 5.00pm as this is when independent schools are available to play.

 

You will not be able to play any overage players, so your team must consist of pupils only.

 

Also you must make sure that results are sent back to me within 24 hours of the fixture, therefore any late returnees will be docked two points, this will be strictly enforced.

 

Further rules will be provided upon entry to the competition.

 

Schools should affiliate to Sussex W.C.A. If you wish to enter this competition; cost is £15.00 and should be sent to myself with a cheque made payable to SWCA to the following address: Flat 17, The Weppons, Ravens Road, Shoreham-By-Sea, West Sussex, BN43 5AW. Affiliation to the SWCA ensures that players at your school are eligible to play for Sussex. You may email me your application form and then send the cheque later on.

 

The tournament will be a hardball competition.
