THE PURPOSES OF THE LAWS ARE SENIORS.

BEEN MORE CLOSELY DEFINED

JUNIOR BAILS
3 measurements are given for the width of the three sections of
the bail's width
(The third section rests on the middle stump and matches the other
bail. It is therefore the shortest section.)
The total width is 3 13/16 inches or
9.68 cm
First section 1 1/4 in / 3.18 cm
Middle section 1 13/16 in /4.60 cm
Third section 3/4 in / 1.91 cm
JUNIOR STUMPS
Height 27 in / 68.58 cm
Diameter maximum 1 3/8 in / 3.49 cm
Diameter minimum 1 1/4 in / 3.18 cm
Overall width of wicket 8 in / 20.32 cm

WICKET KEEPER'S GLOVES
LAW 40.2 GLOVES
The pouches that have been "growing"
on wicket keepers gloves have been made illegal . However because
the glove manufacturers are stll producing illegal gloves it has
been agreed by the ECB that this change will not be implemented
until the 2003 outdoor season.
Do not buy a rogue pair this season
and then have to change it next.
TRAINING SESSIONS
The four local District Associations are currently holding sessions
to update umpire and scorer members and will be holding a number
of training sessions at various locations for players, captains,
coaches etc.
Also, if resources permit, they will be willing to hold sessions
at individual clubs.
