Crawley v Steyning was billed as the match of the evening,and really lived up to expections,as Steyning racked up 103-4,with all batsmen contributing, but Matthew Blandford 44* stole the show for Crawley,scoring the winning runs from the very last ball.

No suprises in the second game as Horsham posted 129-4. Oli Walker 39* , and it was good to see a young, improving Barns Green replying with a very respectable 81-6,with Jason Corquin,17, leading the way.

Steady Billingshurst provided the shock of the evening by defeating West Chiltington. Hurst scored an average 81-2, D.MacDonald 22*, but some excellent straight bowling panicked Chilt into four Run-Outs, with only David Bowen-Davies.19, showing any resistance.
